Traditionally the Niño de Mula has been a place of stop for the traveler who traveled the route from Murcia to Caravaca since it is halfway through Now it is a place of pilgrimage, there are two pilgrimages to the sanctuary on September 8 , in which the Descent is made, in which many people accompany the child in his transfer to the Monastery of Las Claras. The second great pilgrimage is the popular pilgrimage that takes place on the twentieth and second of September in the morning in which thousands of people accompany the figure of the Niño de Mula to his hermitage and enjoy the food in the countryside.
